Saturday - Independence Day

Holiday or not, it started out the same.

After breakfast we ran 6 miles.  When we got back and showered, I fell to temptation.

The F-16's flew over the parade route (and over our house).  A sure sign of the 4th of July! Then back to the routine.

Then we went into town and checked out the Cherry Days celebration. I bet these were hot!

There weren't as many tents (vendors) as prior years.

The entertainment was a magician who uses reptiles in his show.

Seems there is an increase in the struggle for a good spot in the parade route so these signs were posted.  We didn't go to the parade though (too hot).

When it's hot there's something that is very refreshing . . . 

I ended up with 2 of these.  Also, there is something else that is refreshing on a hot day (Hint of something to come).

OK, ya had to know this was coming . . .
