I haven't posted in a few days. It isn't because I was "being bad" because actually I wasn't. It was because I was busy. On Thursday we were gone all day and by the time I got home I was pooped and not about to sit at the computer. I took pics of what I ate for the day but at this point it really doesn't matter so I deleted them. Here's a clue what we did on Thursday:
Yes, we went to the zoo! We haven't been there in ages. Actually it made me kind of sad for the animals. The facility is not necessarily a bad one (is there REALLY a good one?) but if I was an animal I couldn't imagine being happy about it.
After we finished with the zoo we went looking at travel trailers. Of course we have "the little wheelie house" but I've been wanting something with more floor space for awhile. The Doods carry a lot of stuff with them when they travel lol! So here is the object of my affection (except that we would get a regular table & chairs instead of the booth shown.
This morning I started my morning as usual . . .
But you may notice an article of interest in the other section . . .
It was with interest that I noted the whole article was written from the Facebook pages of the Dog Park and Mayor. Basically we have more patrons than parking spaces. No surprises. The full article is available online for awhile here.
We are 1 day behind on our schedule because Friday morning we were too tuckered out to get up early enough to run before the day heated up. So today we did our 7 mile run. Got home and had coffee. Almost forgot to take a photo . . .
OK, I'm going to go ahead and post this mid-day just because I want the link to the newspaper to still be available to anyone who might want to read it. Typically they take down the link rather quickly.
Not The END!

ReplyDeleteOMDness!!!!! I was reading the article on your piccie before noting the link below... crikey... in way this is great news - but I guess potentially troublesome too.. deary me. Hope this doesn't become anything to darksome. The park is so important.
I was thinking to myself this morning that it had been a bit quiet from Utah. I guess there are some things needing energy!
On the up side - LOVE the wheeliehoosie!!! Home away from home for sure.
Eyes-on... YAM xx
One of our popular dog parks has the same issue with parking. Not enough spots. Hope you sort it out.
ReplyDeleteI have a love/hate feeling about zoos too. I love to experience the animals, but hate that they are in cages. Sigh!
Hi there, Just think if it works out in the future for us to get a used Class C RV, then we could come to the retreat or just stop to say hi. I'm sure that once the dog park isn't new anymore, things will quiet down. Hope you have a great evening.
