Tuesday

Actually there is something very enjoyable about running very early in the morning.  Likewise, I like running in the evening, on a crisp Autumn evening.  I notice the smells coming from houses (cooking, laundry, etc.) and yet it is quiet where I am.  And yes, it is very meditative, especially the long runs.  That's why I like running long distance.  I can't get into the meditative state on a short run but am able to spend a lot of time there over longer distance.  OK, it's a new day . . .

I haven't eliminated Coffee Break but reduced the number of days (I blame hubby for this).

Veggie Dogs - Not very tasty but it makes me feel like I am eating a hot dog.  (I know that seems weird.)

That's a wrap!

  2. I agree about that meditative state on a long run, great way to clear you head of work day stresses…another one of my excuses to run in the evening not early morning!

  4. You have inspired me to think about eating healthier again (it went to heck on our trip to Iceland - I ate a lot of chips but road trips and no gluten are hard!). I have found the easiest way for me to eat healthier is to increase the veggies I eat. I am lucky that I love raw veggies and we have a veggie share at a local farm.
