Day Eight

Thanks for your comments.  It really is helping me knowing that eyes are on this boring little blog.  I really struggle with the nighttime eating and feel good about the improvement I've made in this area (remember, not perfect, just better more often). To answer Julie's question, yes we do TONS of hill work.

    1. That is my challenge, 100 percent honesty. I am owning what I eat. I'm glad it is helping you!

I have to say I would love to be running in those hills around you, certainly beats the urban area I have to run in!

  4. I have been catching up on your diet blog. I was desperate enough to have the gastric by-pass surgery several years ago. I have lost 100 lbs but really need to lose more as I an still obese. I wish I could eat as you do. Maybe I need to start a blog. Like you my biggest problem is between supper and bedtime. I wish I could run out even walk at a fast pace. I have mobility problems (one reason I had the surgery) and cannot indulge in aerobic exercise. Good luck to you in your endeavors. You have not reached old yet. I am 67.

  6. This is a great idea! Mom gained 40 pounds a few years ago. She had some major surgery following an accident and was off her feet for several months at the same time menopause kicked in. She started a food journal and taking photos of what she was eating though she only posted a few of the recipe and the weight came off. Keeping track is important and eating sitting down and not reading or doing something else REALLY helps.

The vet said though that since being rescued I've eaten too much and need to lose 3 or 4 pounds. So Mom is walking me more, - I'm a senior but it's still good for me.
