 It's Monday so that means it's our long run day!  Believe it or not but I actually look forward to these 13 mile runs.  I don't look forward to getting up early to try and beat the heat, but I actually like running 13 miles.  It feels good doing it and it feels good when I'm done.  Today felt especially good although I'm not sure why.  Sometimes it is extra good for no apparent reason and other times it's extra hard for no apparent reason.

I surprised myself and had a banana with peanut butter instead of the tea scones I typically crave.  Getting up early to go running means I have a lot more day ahead of me when I get done so I'm sure sometime today I'll have tea scones.

For lunch instead of my usual cheese on toast sandwich I had PB&J.  Hmmmm . . . I might be seeing a pattern here!

For supper shredded wheat sounded good with minimal fuss.

I had some left over cantaloupe.

    ...I'd look forward to the idea of it... doing it remains just that! Clearly there was some carb refuelling going after it. (For you; not my running idea...) Which is just fine. It's brekky time here and now I got p'nut butter in my noggin...

    Its been a while since I did 13 miles....could be a while longer before I do it again!
